It starts with a series of letters written by Captain Robert to her sister, where he describes his emotions, loneliness and his urge to share his days with someone close. In those letters, we also get to meet a man who was found in the icy sea water, almost dead, saved by the ship's crew. Initially quite, this man starts opening up to the captain and explains how he got here. Victor Frankenstein tells his story to the captain in hopes to warn him about his mistakes and asks him to learn from them.
