“Because once you become a parent, you learn that love can involve more fear than you had ever imagined, and you never quite look on the world in the same way again.” | My Thoughts on I Am Watching You by Teresa Driscoll. | A Spoiler-free Book Review

I Am Watching You

I Am Watching You by Teresa Driscoll

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gripping from start to finish, I am so glad I read it in a weather setting of October! It’s been a while since I read a thriller this gripping and enjoyable. I read this with my best friend and we had to take it slow according to our schedules but both of us were thoroughly hooked to the story and always curious to know what’s going to happen next.

I love how the story goes to show that some crimes, some stories and someone else’s distress can have an impact on so many lives. People never met before, have no connection to each other but get interwoven due to fate.

Ella, going about her day as usual, has no idea that she will soon witness a crime that will put two families – apart from her own – through extreme pain and misery. I wouldn’t want to share a lot because I think I best enjoyed it not knowing anything before I started reading it. I will, however, warn about some sexual triggers.
