Hi there! I hope you’re doing well.
I have The Crown on in my background as I write this. Not the best of decisions, I suppose, because I’ll have to re-watch the episode to know what’s really happening. Missed quite a lot!
Moving on, first of all I’m so glad to have received messages regarding my First book in the Biblio-wish list. So many of you haven’t yet read Elif Shafak’s books and I’m so happy to know that most of you will! 😀
Today, I enter another of the books that I have had an eye on since I learnt about it. It was published in 2013, I suppose and for many years wasn’t available in India. But when it was it was highly expensive.
My Mother’s Ring is a memoir of a Holocaust survivor, written in his death bed, sharing his experiences before, during and after the most hell-like situations Jews had to endure.
I have heard nothing but great things about this book when I first spotted it, and it has a rating of 4.36 on Goodreads!
Now that it is available on Amazon, it’s still a tad bit expensive so I’ve decided to wait longer and finish the books that I have in the meantime. And of course it makes to my second spot on the wish list!
Do you have any similar suggestions? I really miss reading some strong memoirs.
Also, join in and share your wish list!
If you do a post, please use #timesofgee and #bibliowishlist !! I’d love to see your list 😀
I absolutely enjoyed Apurva’s post on it! I really want to read Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks too but since I’m sharing books from my Goodreads to-read list (In hopes to organise it better), I’ll talk about it a little later 😀
So, what’s on your wish list 🙂
