Dear Diary |26 Nov, 2017 |The one where I thought I got better.

Dear Diary

It’s 10.03 PM as I write this to you. Yesterday, I felt my cold and cough getting better and I was excited to know that I’ll be able to get back to my routine from today. But! Who am I kidding? My body possessed by its auto immunity must’ve thought to fight some invisible monster and now I’m down with fever. Which means headache, body ache, mood swings and fatigue.

So not a Sunday I was looking forward to but I did manage to make it a tad bit better than the previous week. I was able to work a little, read a little, get back to daily blogging and even sketch.

I took some references from the internet to bring this sketch together and it’s still in the draft stage.

As for my reading update – I’m finally a 100 pages into Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi and I think that’ll be it for tonight. I might move to The Spy and see if I can finish it today.

I received a book mail from a publishing house in London and I introduced the books today on my IG stories.

Really excited about these. There’s another, more personal, book mail that I’ll soon share with you!

Before I continue reading, I think I’ll play a game or two.

After that, it’s my usual night routine and read till my eyes demand sleep.

And that’s pretty much it for today!

Love, Gee.
