My Thoughts on Men Without Women by Murakami | Short, Spoiler-free review – Vlog #5 (Part 1)

Men Without WomenMen Without Women by Haruki Murakami

My rating: 1 of 5 stars

It definitely took me a while to realise that I didn’t like this book at all, mainly because I heard so many great things about it and also Murakami’s work in general that I subconsciously began thinking that I’m enjoying it. When I started the third story, I listened to what I was actually thinking and let go of the influenced thoughts.
I don’t mean to offend people who love his work. I’m pretty sure his books aren’t for me and I’ve left the “I-want-to-read-all-Murakami-books-ever-published” ship even before I could fully board it! And I don’t regret it.

To know more on why I felt this way, I have a short review on it on my Youtube channel:
