Hey! So I just felt like updating my blog with what’s been happening these couple of days.
I haven’t exactly planned how this blog has to shape up so let’s be spontaneous and see how it goes, yeah?
1. We are finally venturing in and setting up our bag making unit – It’s tiny but its great! I’ve been waiting for this for so long now. For those of you who don’t know, We’ve been designing, manufacturing and trading Women footwear for a while now and so Bags are our next step in our world of Fashion accessories.
So I’m really excited for this one.
I’ll post an image of it, when it’s completely done and organised 😀
2. I finally finished reading Not Without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody! I had purchased this book a couple of months back but never really got to reading it then. This strong, gripping story – however, a little dragged towards the end – is about an American woman and Iranian man’s marriage and their daughter. It’s also about her escape from their marriage and setting herself her and her daughter free from their abduction and the man’s irrational rage. I’m thinking of writing a blog on this topic and theme revolving it and will link it here when/if I do so.
3. I’ve really been active on Goodreads lately. It takes a lot of effort for me to be active on social media even though I realise its importance for work and everything.
But on this particular platform, I just flow. It’s the easiest and the most natural thing for me to be online and active on a social platform and talk about books. Hence, the obsession with Goodreads! I’ve also taken up the 2017 Reading Challenge and I’ve just finished my 16th book, I suppose.
I’ll post my thoughts on it Here
( I haven’t been able to make a lot of time to blog since there’s so much to do and organise with my new venture and everything. But, I’ll soon be back to it with all the links updated here! )
4. Lately, I’ve been practising and enhancing my skills at digital art since I use it a lot for my designing and other work purposes now. I miss sketching and painting – I do plan on resuming once my work studio is nicely organised – therefore, I make up for it as much as I can via Digital art. I use Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and I love it! I use Huion’s graphic pad for my Macbook and Wacom’s Bamboo Fineline2 Stylus for my Ipad mini 2.
I take references and inspirations off the net and just practice away!
I can’t think of anything else right now, sadly. I’ve just come back from an exhausting yet exciting trip to Delhi for work meetings and material purchasing, so I’ll take time in recalling other things that have been going on. As promised earlier, will keep updating as and when I get time 🙂
Thanks for spending time reading this!
See you soon 😀
